Fear Is The Mind Killer

Today’s post is a bit of my philosophy mixed in with a bit or ranting on a couple of idiots in the prepper community making us all look bad. I come across a lot of people in the prepper/ survivalist industry are trying to sale their products using fear. Fear mongering pisses me off. Taking advantage of people to make a buck is plain wrong. I had this article planned already but with something I read today I have a bit more to say. Today is all about Fear, having fear push you into bad decisions and those that use it on you. Don’t be scarred today we’re facing the fear.

Back From My Short Break And New Things

First I want to apologize for the absence last week. It was unplanned and very needed. I have a lot of things going on and the creative juices were not flowing. I didn’t want to put put out half assed crap, so I chose to take a break. Not that I didn’t to anything for the site during that time. I had some grand ideas, have some new merchandise on the way, started forming some plans and also squeezed in some rest and cleared my head some. I still have some things to take care of and deal with but my heads back in the game. So let’s get into a few of the things I’m planing.

While eating lunch today with a co worker this subject came up. A lady we work with, Donna, said she didn’t understand why anyone would need an AR. They went back and forth with both their points. Hearing about this conversation made me think It would make an excellent post. Not only on why anyone would need an AR but why I feel that even that isn’t enough.

Doing The Same Thing Gets You The Same Result

One of my friends wife is trying to loose some weight and has been posting on Facebook what’s shes doing. I’m not sure where she’s been getting her info on weight loss but it’s pretty much all bad. I would interject a few things here and there. One day she messaged me asking for some specific advice. I gave it then she gave me excuses why he couldn’t follow it. It was tired old BS she shot back at me. She can’t do it cause it’s different from the crap shes been fed her whole life. Crap that has led to her being overweight. Doing the same things you’ve always done will lead to getting the same results.

Thoughts On In Person Gun Sales

I was asked about this topic the other day, buying/selling guns in person, and thought it would make a great topic. I’ve done a few of these transactions, which are perfectly legal in my state, and have always had good experiences. there are several benefits to doing business in person with people and a few cautions to watch out for. I’ll cover the good and the bad in today’s post.
