This is our Thanksgiving special. Mike and I talked about discussing the origins of Thanksgiving. Going into the history of the first one. We decided that that had been done. We wanted to do something more fitting. What we decided on was to tell what we are thankful for.
We are very thankful for all of you. Each and every listener to the Survivapunk Podcast. Each reader. You make doing this worth it. We don’t say it enough.
Thanksgiving Special
We spend the rest of the thanksgiving special talking about cooking. A subject both Mike and I are very passionate about. Mike talks about what he will be cooking for thanksgiving. He shares some of his tips and tricks.
We read a few paleo friendly versions to Thanksgiving traditions. I talk about wanting to try chestnuts this year. I grew up hearing about chestnuts roasting on an open fire. I’ve never had them. I’ve only recently seen them in stores. This is the year I finally try them.
I was going to share more recipes but my internet was acting stupid. I shared my version of bacon and brussel sprouts.
