For many, it’s impossible imaging not having their book of faith with them in a survival situation. Others say it’s too much weight and not worth it. To me, it is a personal matter and beyond debate. I would urge you to cover your basics first, however.
I fully agree with a Hennessey Hammock as a shelter. My hammock is my go to shelter for years and love it. I lived out of my hammock for extended camping trips before happily. I can’t imagine ever going back to ground camping. Especially not for an extended time.

The most important concern about recurve bows is its lighter draw weight, which makes it difficult to hunt from a tree stand. But recurve bows are a great way to learn game stalking skills, and they are highly capable of taking down big-game animals too.
Overall, recurve bows are great for small-game hunting and compound bows for large game hunting.
