Audew Multi-function Flashlight Review

The good folks at Audew sent me this Audew Multi-function flashlight for testing and review.

I started out by throwing it in a pool. The packaging said it was waterproof so I wanted to find out for sure.

We used it as a pool light for over an hour. And it wasn’t fazed by it,

The Audew Multi-function flashlight in lantern mode put out tons of light.

Let’s jump into the review and see if it’s worth picking up one.

The Good

The Audew Multi-function Flashlight has a standard flashlight light and a more lantern type light. It’s the lantern function I like best.

The light given off by the lantern mode is a bright yet soft white light.

This makes it possible to read comfortably. Most LED flashlights make reading unpleasant. They have hot spots of light. Some parts of your book are washed out and others are too dark.

One of the light modes on the lantern light is a bug light. And In my testing, it works fairly well.

The light is also a 5200mAh USB battery bank. Making it great for keeping all of your USB devices charged.

The light itself is chargeable by USB cable too. And if you know me you know I’ve switched to all rechargeable flashlights.

The Bad

I always have to find something wrong with the items I review. Sometimes it’s easier than others. On the Audew Multi-function Flashlight, it’s the SOS mode.

The SOS mode flashes a red and blue light. Like a police light. I just don’t like it.

I just think it’s an odd mode to have. For me red and blue flashing lights make me think I’m being pulled over. Not a pleasant thought.

Also, they say you can fit it in a pocket. While the Audew Multi-function Flashlight is not huge. It is not small enough to fit in a pocket unless you are wearing 90’s Jinko’s.

Final Thoughts

So should you pick up an Audew Multi-function Flashlight? Do you need a new flashlight? Do you need a USB battery Bank?

If the answer is yes then you should grab one. Right now the price is $21 on Amazon. To get all the functionality of this light at that cost makes it totally worth it.
