I got the chance to review the new paleo cook book Make Ahead Paleo by Tammy Credicot. First off this book is gorgeous. The pictures in this book will make you so hungry. I also loved the creativity in the recipes. The book is absolutely true to paleo and has no recipes that contain grains, gluten, dairy, soy, legumes (well I think I saw a green been recipe) or cane sugar. The other big difference in this book is that it is aimed at what many of us do which is prepare meals ahead of time and freeze them. Having a healthy meal ready to go when you are hungry can be a life saver. In the book there are over 100 beautifully photographed recipes. It comes with inventory sheets to keep track of the frozen meals. Recipes for your slow cooker to have wonderful meals for you waiting at home. Recipes to take on the road and meals you can make in your hotel room, so you never have an excuse for not eating well. For many who are not great at making up dishes this book will really help you create wonderful meals ahead of time.
