NDUR Pull Top Canteen

Just a few days before the end of the month and I’m rolling out some great prizes. In fact I have enough to run all weekend long! Today I have one I’ve been dying to give away. I have a NDUR Pull top canteen water filter. The canteen is made from BPA free plastic. The filter is good up for 100 gallons or more depending on water quality.  It features a unique design that prevents leaks. It removes up to 99.99% of chemicals and other contaminants like E-Coli, Giardia and Cryptosporidium. It removes up to 99.9999% of viruses and bacteria.

NDUR Canteen

When I started this contest on my my goals was to try to find some local businesses to work with. I found four to participate and the great owners of Reliance Survival Supply stepped up with this amazing canteen. Having met them at a local event and seeing their commitment to the survival preparedness community I play to give them all the business I can. In fact I plan to grab one of these canteens as soon as I can. Getting to play with all this great gear during the contest only makes me want to spend tons of money.

NDUR and USGI

The filter on this canteen deals with my main two concerns with unknown water sources, Giardia and Cryptosporidium. While this is not 100% guaranteed I’ll take 99.9999% any day. To me this represents the best compromise while on the run or just keeping a tight hiking schedule. Just fill it and drink worry free.

NDUR and Canteen Cup

Another reason I like this bottle so much is the design. While not an exact copy of the USGI canteen it’s darn close. So close in fast it fit in all the canteen gear I have. In a surplus canteen it was slightly looser than a surplus canteen but still fit well enough. In a canteen pouch it fit just fine. To me this adds a whole level of versatility. Being able to fit all the accessories made for the USGI canteen makes it way more useful.

NDUR Packed up

Another point to make is that it filters 100 gallons. The canteen holds 32oz. That’s .25 of a gallon meaning this should at minimum be able to be refiled 400 times! If you used it to drink 1 gallon a day it would last for over three months straight. To me that’s great piece of mind to know you have 3 months of water that’s clean and safe.

You want this right? Heck I know I do! Winning is as easy as this is to drink from. First make sure you are a blog subscriber. You can do so here. Next leave a comment on this post. Third head over to the Reliance Survival Supply Facebook Page like them and give them a huge thanks. I tossed in a link to their store as well to check out this and all the other great gear they have. If you have not liked the Survivalpunk Facebook page do that too. I’m working on giving something(s) away at 1k likes. I will comment on this post with the winner in 24 hours and you will have 24  hours to email me your shipping address. Good Luck!

LET ME KNOW HOW MUCH YOU WANT CLEAN WATER IN THE COMMENTS!

  1. This would be great to have! You can never have too many water filter or purification devices in my mind. We have 2 boys and my 11 yr old would love this!

  2. Awesome!! love it, want it “clean” water is one of the most needed things we lack right now. Thanks for the Give away.

  3. This is a sweet canteen. an improvement would be to make it from metal, so you could boil the canteen also. but that may not be possiable.

  4. Awesome!! love it, want it “clean” water is one of the most needed things we lack right now. Thanks for the Give away. I Really like the specs on this canteen. Please throw my name in the hat.

  5. No matter if some one searches for his essential
thing, therefore he/she needs to be available that in
detail, so that thing is maintained over here.

  6. You actually make it appear really easy together with
your presentation however I in finding this matter to
be really something which I feel I might never understand.
It seems too complex and very wide for me. I’m taking a look forward on your next publish, I will try to get the grasp of it!

  7. I don’t know if you’ll get this, but I have a question. Does a normal Nalgene bottle (wide mouth) fit the ndur canteen? Thanks.
