Survival Water Bottle Kit

One of my friends is running a contest over on the Zombie Squad Forums and asked if I was interested. I love contests, especially ones that put constrains on you that make you really work hard. For this contest you must create a Survival Nalgene Bottle on the cheap. I like both the limited space of the nalgene bottle and the cost restriction. This contest has the insane budget of everything has to be under $5 except the bottle and one item that may be $10. I figured I had enough gear laying around I could throw one together. I did and I am rather proud of the kit I made. Let me show you what I tossed together and tell you how you can enter this contest.

M48 Kommando Tactical Tomahawk

A while back the folks at BudK sent me a M48 Kommando Tactical Tomahawk to review. This was a first for me having never really been a tomahawk, hatchet or ax guy. It was fun out testing it and I might have to give some more hatchets a try in the future. I had thought about being cheesy and shooting video of me destroying watermelons with it but decided not to. Maybe in the future. I did use it to do some practical functions and I’ll tell you how it did in those tests.

I was watching some videos on YouTube the other day and saw a neat trick from James Yeager. He took some sticky back industrial strength Velcro and used it to attach an SOE shotgun card to his shot gun. My first thought was that thing looks super simple, I’ll just grab some Velcro and elastic and make a shotgun card. I figured it would be a nice DIY article. If you notice the title though this is not a DIY article but a review of the SOE card. That’s because my project failed miserably. The thread kept breaking in the Velcro. After a few hours of frustration I decided to order the SOE ones. When I saw the quality of the SOE ones I knew that ones I had tried to make would have been crap compared to them anyway. So instead today I’ll be reviewing the SOE 12 gauge card and how to make a quick and easy side saddle.

Survivalpunk Shirts Hit The Streets

I’ve been talking about having Survivalpunk merchandise for a while now. I had some issues that kept them from coming out earlier. I also wanted to make sure the design for the shirts was perfect. I worked with a great guy on the design and feel that it came out looking amazing. With that newly designed logo I hit the savings account and went to the presses. The first run of shirts are here now. They are solid black with the logo in red on the back. I have some XL, Large and Medium Left in stock. I ran a sale on Facebook over the weekend and generated a lot of interest in them. I have a few more left to sale before I ship the rest off the Kelly at the TSP Gear Shop to add to the Friends of TSP section. I will extend the sale price of $15 shipped for the rest of the day. Anniversary Winners

Just a quick announcement that the Big one year anniversary contest is over and I have my winners. The winners are as follows: Charlie B is the grand prize winner getting all the big prizes.
