Often I get spam on my site in the comments linking to various websites. Rarely though it turns out to not be spam and comes from legit sources. I always like to go check out any links posted and make sure it’s something I like. I had an old article about making your own paleo camping meals that got a comment recently about a company finally making freeze dried paleo camping meals. Holding back my excitement was pretty darn hard. After looking over the site I decided to contact them and see if they wold like to send me a delicious sample to review. I found this ebook while doing some research on how to increase my fat intake while lowering my protein. I had been eating too much protein and it was staling out my eight loss. I knew I needed to up the fat but was stumped on how to do that without equally increasing the protein. I didn’t find much in my searching until I came across this book. The Fat Fast Cook book comes packed with recipes that meet those requirements. After checking out the sample pages available on Amazon I decided to pick it up and have not been let down by it.

A long time ago while watching some Ron Hood videos I saw Karen making some bannoc. It looked pretty good but I didn’t like most, OK all, the ingredients in it. I don’t eat wheat flour, shorting and certainty not Bisquick. So I thought to myself I should make a paleo version one day. This was a few years ago and I realized I still had not even begun working on the recipe. Today I had decided I would work on it and post the results. I did a Google search for traditional bannoc recipes to swap out ingredients with things I wanted. Luckily for me bannock is a fairly simply thing to make. Good I hate baking.

Rayovac PS73-4BT6 7-Hour Power Back Up

I saw this product one day at the store and thought I would pick it up for review. It, the Rayovac PS73-4BT6 7-Hour Power Back Up, filled a nice I had been looking for. I like the idea of small back up power chargers but not the ones with built in batteries that can’t be changed. The big reason I liked this one was because It takes standard AA batteries. If I want rechargeable batteries I can just charge them and in a charger and put them in this unit. I feel AA batteries are perfect for backup power. They are relatively cheap and plentiful now to stock up on and in a collapse scenario I feel they would still be able to be found. With that said lets get down to the review and see how this charger performs.
